Digital Printing

The Ballpark

“Can you just give me a ballpark…?”

The following prices are intended as a general guide to what digital printing costs for a particular project in some particular quantities. The exact specifications are indicated. While we relate price directly to quantity, a number of other variables can substantially affect it. Among these variables are; turnaround time, finishing, pre-press work, and paper costs. Specific quotes are available, usually on the spot for simple print jobs, and within 24 hours for more complex projects.

How we work

Different print shops produce different levels of quality. At Digital Imaging, we been a Scitex/Xerox digital color house since we began printing in color. A background in high-end phototypesetting, color scanning and color separation focused our attention on the fidelity of the finished piece, rather than the cost it takes to achieve it. The DocuColor 260 on-board i1 spectrophotometer is used to calibrate at least twice a day. The Scitex/Creo front end is a more costly option for the DocuColor 260 but while it lacks the more comprehensive document assembly features of other models, it encompasses a robust suite color correction capabilities that is unmatched.
